Hello, my darlings! Received the newest Illustration Friday challenge (wool) in my inbox, and remembered that I had an illustration of a spring lamb that I did on a page from a vintage farmer's almanac. So, I figured I would dust the little guy off, and submit it.
Hope you all are having a fabulous week!

Hi Charlotte!
Thanks so much for your lovely comment! I always do a very light wash of watercolor, just for a hint of color, and then draw over that with a black, .005 Micron pen. Unfortunately, ink always bleeds over watercolor, so when I work on a detailed drawing, I usually do my own version of pointillism, instead of lines. It gives nice texture, and it's so much easier to control the shading!
Again, thanks so much for your comment! Have a great day!
